Our Story

Minority women experience a plethora of struggles both while applying for jobs and when in the workplace.  For example, “Over 20% of visible minority women experienced some form of discrimination due to one or more of the following reasons: ethnicity, race, skin colour, religion, and language. Half of those women reported that the discrimination occurred in their workplace or when applying for a job” (Lean In, Canada).  With this in mind, WomINclusive aims to provide a networking and discussion platform to visible minority women groups in the field of business. Our events include speaker series and discussions on how women from minority groups can challenge the status quo and establish a place for themselves in high-ranking business positions.

 

Our club is officially recognized by Ulife and the University of Toronto Student’s Union.
