Discussion Group on the Wage and Gender Pay Gap

Our second event was held on January 24, 2020. We invited two speakers to share their experiences as minority women in the workforce. Both speakers are current Rotman MBA students. The first, Mahima Kohli, has prior experience in the consulting industry and worked in both India and EMEA. Tanya Adityan, the second speaker, has worked in the healthcare sector in Toronto, and is currently the Manager of Outreach, Diversity & Inclusion on the Graduate Business Council. The speakers provided our attendees with tips to battle workplace discrimination and challenge the status-quo in order to achieve their goals. The event ended with a productive discussion on female leadership, the gender & racial wealth gap, and building meaningful connections.
